Lake Bluff, Illinois Residence
This beautiful Lake Bluff, Illinois residence (Lake Bluff, IL) is designed with a focus on an entertainment lifestyle. The dramatic home welcomes guests with a strong street presence. Guests are directed to the front entry while the family proceeds to the side entry garages and parking area.
Guests enter through the front door and beneath a winding, circular stair to the second floor. From the Foyer, one is immediately greeted with a spectacular view of the patio through the sunken Great Room. Access to the formal Dining Room and the Pub Room are also choices from the Foyer, extending deeper into the Kitchen and Living Room.
While the open-plan format creates expansive views and sensations of space, each room maintains a distinct identity. Each space has its purpose and gracefully transitions from one to another. Some are quite open and flow naturally into one another.
Others have a more private intention and have the option of isolation and intimacy. The gourmet kitchen is as functional as it is welcoming. Connected to the Dining Room and Great room, the Kitchen can be a working space without separating it from the action.
The second-floor houses three bedrooms, with an en suite Master bedroom. Bedrooms are generously sized with reach-in closets and share a jack & jill bath. A dedicated laundry is amply sized and conveniently located to serve the entire family.
The Master Suite offers a flexible furniture arrangement. It then proceeds into the Master Bathroom, Master Closet, and Dressing Area. Natural light plays a pivotal role and is drawn into every room to make them all warm and inviting.
This Lake Bluff Farmhouse checks all of the boxes.

Whether local or long-distance, good design stands out, and highly specialized tools facilitate good communication and thorough comprehension. The result is a finely crafted home designed to fit your family’s particular needs. Your experience during the design and construction is perhaps as important as the home itself. You will create a better home when you fully understand and appreciate its form. Even better, your joy during the design and construction shines through, illuminating your home for decades to come.
