Mark Eric Benner – Architects, Ltd. (MEBA) is an architecture firm in the Chicago area that exists to make design projects possible.
Whether it’s for a custom home build, a large-scale commercial construction project, or a targeted renovation, we’re here to demystify the process, hone your vision, and be your expert companions on the journey to making your design dreams a reality.

Let’s be honest: architecture is its own language. It takes training to even understand it, much less have a conversation in it.
And when you come to an architecture firm with your construction or renovation project, you don’t have time to learn that language.
I’ve built decades of experience working with clients with all kinds of custom design needs. When they come to me, they are often making life-changing decisions that involve a significant investment of time and money. And I believe that it’s not only important to do excellent work, but to provide a better way of showing my work so they can make informed decisions that they feel good about.
When you work with MEBA, you get talented architects who know how to talk with you, advocate for your needs, and coordinate with other people who are best in their field and can further flesh out your project, whether it’s builders, landscapers, or interior designers.
MEBAcares
MEBA is dedicated to making a difference. And through partnerships with organizations like Solid Rock Carpenters, Habitat for Humanity, The Home Depot Foundation, and the Appalachian Service Project, we help to meet people’s basic need for shelter. Our uniquely talented team has worked with over 4,700 volunteers to build over 58 high-quality, affordable homes that provide security and withstand the test of time.
When you work with MEBA, a portion of the design fee goes to support this ongoing mission. Because home should be possible for everybody.
