hope village – solid rock carpenters

This unique opportunity will extend the efforts of Solid Rock Carpenters to a new group of friends. Hope Village will continue the mission of Appalachian Service Project to provide warmer, safer, and dryer homes for families in need.

Similar to previous Solid Rock Carpenter projects in Bogalusa, LA., and Franklinton, LA, we expect all of our volunteers to have the experience of a lifetime. Ask any of our members to share their most memorable experiences and you’ll hear heartfelt stories about just how rewarding it is to work with the homeowners and their families.

Experienced volunteers work together with those who may never have swung a hammer to build homes for those in need. The experiences shared by all of the volunteers make them feel like the lucky ones to have been able to serve. The work is hard and the sun is hot, there will be soreness. However, no one complains. We will all count ourselves fortunate to have played a part in Hope Village Project.
