The National AIA Convention, "We the People" is coming up the week of May 13th and we will be attending. The Solid Rock Carpenters and their Bogalusa Blitz project will be featured at the convention.
“Solid Rock Carpenters” are proud to announce that our Bogalusa homes are in the midst of final completion. Many proud homeowners have moved in and the rest will do so shortly.
Over the course of 2007, our group built eight homes, framing components in Glenview, then shipping them to Franklinton & Bogalusa, Louisiana for assembly by our dedicated crew of traveling volunteers. Five trips to the still devastated Katrina region are responsible for construction of eight new homes and the restoration of many others.
